The Securities Exchange Board of India has postponed the introduction of the swing pricing structure for mutual fund schemes until May 1, 2022 on the request of the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI). The framework was set to take effect on March 1st, with the goal of deterring investors from making substantial redemptions from debt funds. In Sep 2021, the SEBI announced the implementation of a swing pricing mechanism in India.
