SEBI has released the Saarthi mobile app with the goal of raising investor awareness of the fundamental concepts of the securities market, particularly mutual funds. The app is available in both English and Hindi and offers information on issues such as the basics of the securities market, the KYC process, trading and settlement, mutual funds, recent market developments, and the method for resolving investor grievances. The app offers information about mutual funds and ETFs, such as the different types of schemes, how to invest, how to use a riskometer, and so on. In future, SEBI plans to continuously improve the app and make it available in regional languages.
