Franklin Templeton has announced September 11 as the record date for declaration of tax-free dividend under the dividend plan/option of Templeton India Equity Income Fund. The amount of dividend is Re.0.70 per unit. Pursuant to payment of dividend, the NAV of the scheme would fall to the extent of payout and statutory levy.
