According to data from AMFI, the mutual fund industry AUM witnessed uptick of 3.38% on MoM basis from Rs. 30.01 lakh crores in Nov to Rs. 31.02 lakh crores in Dec 2020. Over the year, the AUM size increased 16.89% from Rs. 26.54 lakh crores in Dec 2019. The industry witnessed a net inflow of Rs. 2,967.86 crores during the month. Income/debt-oriented schemes (open ended) saw a net inflow of Rs. 13,862.77 crores during the month. Meanwhile, equity and equity-oriented schemes (open ended) witnessed net outflow of Rs. 10,147.12 crores.
