According to data from AMFI, the mutual fund industry AUM size witnessed an uptick of 5.10% MoM from Rs. 26.86 lakh crore to Rs. 28.23 lakh crore in Oct 2020. Over the year, the AUM size increased 7.22% from Rs. 26.33 lakh crore. The industry witnessed a net inflow of Rs. 98,575.96 crore during the month. Maximum inflow is seen in income/debt-oriented schemes to the tune of Rs. 1,10,466.51 crore. Within the income/debt-oriented scheme category, liquid funds witnessed an inflow of Rs. 19,582.70 crore.
