SEBI has asked stock exchanges to allow investors trade in mutual funds directly on their platform

As per media reports, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has asked the stock exchange to allow investors trade in mutual funds directly on their platform. Soon investors will be able to directly invest in mutual fund without taking the assistance of distributors or Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs). This will provide a platform to investors who wish to invest in direct plans.
