According to media reports, Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) is expected to appeal to Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to re-evaluate its decision of restricting fund companies from spending IAP corpus on distributors. Distributors help in creating mutual fund awareness among investors and help fund companies to reach out to a larger investor base.
