SEBI may make liquid MF rules more stringent

According to media reports, Securities and Exchange Board of India is considering to make rules for tightening liquid mutual funds with assets of Rs. 8 lakh crore or more with the purpose of lowering volatility. The regulator is considering this move to address challenges faced in the event of debt defaults.
