The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), in a circular, has reviewed the additional expense of up to 0.30% towards inflows from beyond top 15 (B15). As more than five years have elapsed and on review, the capital market regulator has decided that the additional TER of up to 30 basis points would be allowed for inflows from beyond top 30 cities instead of beyond top 15 cities. Accordingly, the terms T 15 cities and B 15 cities would be substituted by T30 and B 30 cities respectively. The circular is effective from Apr 1, 2018.
