Sundaram Mutual Fund merged Sundaram Banking & PSU Debt Fund with Sundaram Flexible Fund – Short Term Plan

Sundaram Mutual Fund has decided to merge Sundaram Banking & PSU Debt Fund with Sundaram Flexible Fund – Short Term Plan. The change will become effective from Mar 17, 2017. The period of this exit option is from Feb 16 to Mar 17. The fundamental attributes of Sundaram Flexible Fund – Short Term Plan will also be changed and accordingly the scheme will invest 80%-100% of assets in money market and debt securities issued by banks, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), and Public Financial Institutions (PFIs), and invest up to 20% of assets in other debt and money market securities with low to medium risk profile. Earlier 65-100% allocation was deployed in Money Market Instruments while up to 35% in Fixed Income Instruments.
